BAC Lightning F.6 Announced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Microsoft Flight Simulator Lightning by DC Designs

Today DC Designs announced that the BAC Lightning F.6 cold war interceptor is in development for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

We get to see the first screenshots alongside some images of the cockpit of the previously announced P-61B Black Widow. Both aircraft will contain many liveries and likely won’t be released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 unless the situation of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 doesn’t stabilizes.

The developer anticipates a release for both in Q2 2025, and the lightning is said to be their last aircraft. The developer will then focus on supporting the many aircraft in its existing lineup.

There is a possibility that more aircraft will come at some point, but they will be made “at a much more “hobbyist” pace.”
