Without further ado, I leave you with the news.

Fenix Airbus A320neo and A321neo Delayed to 2026 to Give Priority to VNAV and ECAM Updates

Fenix announced that its highly anticipated Airbus A320neo and A321neo won’t make it for the end of 2025. The reason is that the developer has decided to prioritize correcting the flaws in the current A320 CEO’s vertical navigation (VNAV) system, updating the ECAM infrastructure while removing persistent bugs, and implementing state saving.

Updates to VNAV and ECAM will come first, followed by state saving, which is more complex to implement.

The Neos will come afterward, as it would not make sense to release them before these elements are fixed. The new aircraft will benefit from the updates as well when they are released.

That being said, we do get to see a video showing an A320neo taking off, specifically the version sporting the CFM LEAP engines. The aircraft will enter wider testing after the VNAV and ECAM are updated on the CEOs.
