Flight Simulation developers shared news today, including aircraft and airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, MSFS 2020, and X-Plane.

Orbx Releases Four Norwegian Airports for MSFS 2024

Orbx released four airports in Norway by local developer Finn Hansen for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. They were previously available only for MSFS 2020.

The first is Notodden Airport, available on Orbx Direct for $12.21.

It includes the following features.

  • Complete upgrade of the original Notodden Airport with updated high-resolution textures and full PBR implementation
  • Includes the airport and the surrounding townsite, offering numerous POIs and off-airfield areas to explore
  • Authentically recreated mid-runway road crossing on Runway 12 – one of the few in the world
  • Accurately modeled terminal and restaurant, ideal for realistic “$100 hamburger” flights
  • Perfect location for VFR flying, situated in a scenic valley at the edge of Heddalsvannet
  • Proximity to other Orbx Scandinavian destinations including Ålesund, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Scandinavian Mountain Airport
  • Dedicated water landing and docking area for amphibious aircraft operations
  • Highly detailed scenery and custom assets across both the airport and town area
  • Optimized for performance and built natively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
  • Includes numerous small improvements and refinements enhancing realism and immersion

Next is Sandefjord Airport (ENTO), available on Orbx Direct for $16.92. It includes the following features.

Boeing 747-200F Cargo Released for X-Plane 12

Felis Planes released its 747-200F for X-Plane 12. It’s available on X-Plane.org and Simmarket starting at $70.00.
