Katowice Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots and Development Update

Drzewiecki Design revealed more screenshots of the upcoming Katowice Airport (EPKT) in Poland.
This time around, the video focuses on the terminal interiors, while he post also included the traditional brief development update from the developer.
“Over the past two weeks, a huge amount of work has gone into furnishing, texturing, and refining the passenger areas, making the space feel truly alive.
Inside the terminal, new gates, seating zones, cafés, and waiting areas have been completed, along with custom-made furniture, plants, and interior décor. Each element — from benches and tables to trash bins and signage — has been handcrafted and placed to match real-world layouts. The second-floor café now features new furniture sets and planters, creating a distinctive atmosphere for travelers and visitors.
Custom textures for interior equipment have been finalized, along with new signboards and terminal labels. Sound design has also started taking shape — ambient effects are being distributed across the scenery, adding a subtle layer of immersion.
On the technical side, LOD optimization is complete for major objects, ensuring that performance remains smooth as the level of detail increases.”
