Boeing 737 MAX For Microsoft Flight Simulator Coming “Relatively Soon,” Gets Lavatory Video

Flight One Software provided a statement about iFly’s 737 MAX on the publisher’s Discord Server, providing more color on when it’ll be released.

Development update: We are definitely closer, and we believe the product will be available relatively soon now. There are some last minute issues we wanted to try to address first. You will get some indication here on Discord when it is ready or nearing being ready. It will not initially be posted on the Flight1 website or in our forums. It will first be available on Discord via post(s) here (on how to purchase through Flight1), so you do not need to browse to our website to find out. Just check here. So please be patient as we are almost there!

We also get to see a much-awaited features that is too often missing from flight simulation.

Incidentally, the screenshot above was provided by moderator Scotsgod in the publisher’s Discord Server.

Lockheed JetStar for Microsoft Flight Simulator Will Release in Early Access This Week

Big Radials announced on its Discord Server that the Lockheed JetStar vintage business jet will actually be released in early access this week.

It’ll launch at a discounted price and it’ll only be available on the developer’s website. UUpdates will come every week/fortnight until the aircraft is complete.

The aircraft will also have a dedicated Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 release, which will be more expensive, but it’ll include as many features native to the new simulator as possible (albeit the developer still needs to assess this since they have not yet seen the SDK). An upgrade path will be considered.

We also hear more details about the avionics.

The flight model and interior are quite mature now (Mach 0.8 @ 40K’ LETS GO!) and we are also coding a full CIVAS INS instrument for the aircraft. During EA it will launch as INOP with functions added through to release.

At release the INS will use GPS system calls under the hood, which will be more than enough to get an idea of how these things worked. BUT if we get enough interest from the community (read: sales) then we will code a complete INS calculation and it will NOT use ANY GPS calls.

Lukla Scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator and MSFS2024 Gets New Trailer

Clu4D Design released a trailer showcasing their Lukla scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

While we don’t have a release date just yet, we hear that it’s “coming soon.”

If you’d like to get into flight simulation but you’re perhaps a bit intimidated by its apparent complexity, you can read our introductory guide, alongside the second episode focusing on installing add-ons, and another showcasing the basic instruments.
