Flight Simulation developers released plenty of news for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 on top of a look at a work-in-progress fighter jet for Xplane 12.

Iala Grande Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 Gets New Video
Photorico Scenery revealed a new video of Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport (TJIG) also known as Isla Grande Airport serving San Juan, Puerto Rico. Since we cannot embed it here, you’ll need to watch the video on the developer’s Facebook page.
At the moment, we don’t yet know when it’ll be released, but it’s coming for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020. The video shows it running in MSFS 2020.
Fès–Saïss Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Perfectsoft released Fès–Saïss Airport (GMFF) in Morocco, for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Simmarket for $15.44.
It includes the following features and a MSFS 2020 version is coming “very soon” and getting the MSFS 2024 will also entitle you to it.

F-35B Lightning II for X-Plane 12 Gets New Screenshots
AOA Simulations has revealed new screenshots of its F-35B Lightning II for X-Plane 12.
The developer is also working on the Rockwell B-1 Lancer and its flight model is already “well advanced.”
PMDG Updates on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and More
PMDG CEO Robert Randazzo provided an update on the current development pipeline, with a lot of attention dedicated to the plans for compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The developer hopes to have the blocking issues preventing them from making the jump to the new sim solved with Sim Update 1.
“All Development for MSFS 2024:
We are still awaiting some fixes to the MSFS 2024 platform that we hope will un-stick our ability to make forward progress with our MSFS24 plans. Currently, we are experiencing memory allocation problems and CTDs that result from some issues with SDK/C++ support within MSFS 2024 and these inhibit us from doing any serious work on the platform currently. We have forwarded our findings to Asobo and they have indicated identification and resolution of the two major issues we know about- and we are hoping those fixes will roll out in SU1.One very important note of caution: We are hopeful, but not entirely optimistic that SU1 will allow us to begin working with MSFS 2024 in earnest. In our experience, there is still downside risk that getting these two fixes rolled into the platform might simply move us forward a few spots so that we can crack our shins on the next obstacle. We’ll report back to you on the topic so that you know what we are up to and how things are going- but at this juncture we think cautious optimism is the most that is called for until we have a chance to see SU1 in action.
PMDG DC-6 for MSFS 2024:
We are planning to bring the DC-6 forward to MSFS 2024 by issuing whatever fixes/changes to the product are necessary so that existing users can fly this magnificent propliner in the MSFS 2024 environment. Due to existing workload, we are not planning new features for this product, but ensuring you have access to her on the new platform is an important priority to us.PMDG 777 for MSFS 2024:
Once we can make progress in MSFS 2024, our goal is to work through the 777 releases, as previously discussed in other updates. Eventually the 777 fleet in MSFS 2024 will include the 777-300ER, 777F, 777-200ER and 777-200LR. The plan is to get the 777s to you in MSFS 2024 as soon as we can- so expect more news on this once we get SU1 vetted. We do not intend to charge any upgrade pricing for customers moving from 2020 to 2024 unless compelled to do so by MSFS Marketplace policy. Currently we are preparing to insert the 777-200ER into beta testing. As of this moment, we anticipate releasing the 200ER into both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. After we have had her in beta testing a bit, I’ll be able to give you an idea what the release timeline looks like, but currently we are anticipating a shortened beta process due to the stability of the product and the beta tester familiarity with the product.We have a small update for 777 coming in the form of a Micro and a Marketplace release, but it has been delayed due to some versioning quality control issues with the marketplace submission. When we have better information on when our marketplace users can expect to see the next update, we’ll shout…
PMDG 737NG for MSFS 2024:
The 737 is getting a major overhaul in preparation for its introduction into MSFS 2024. This overhaul will include new sim platform features such as walk-arounds, career mode features, upgraded textures, new models, a brand new cabin (with a working cockpit door, finally!) enhanced gameplay features and interactivity within the cabin environment, as well as a brand new sound environment built upon new, high fidelity recordings, with numerous new embedded code structures to enhance the entire sound experience and bring greater realism to the entire simming experience.Expect the 737 for MSFS 2024 to release after the 777s. This package will be available in 2024 with a small upgrade charge for previous MSFS 2020 owners, as previously discussed in other posts on the topic. (Small…you won’t be repurchasing if you already own it.)
PMDG 737NG for MSFS 2020:
We have an update for this product currently in testing, but the “change” is quite small: We are still trying to stomp out the spinning logo problem on the tablet that some users encounter. We are hoping to push a micro for this fix late next week, with a push to Marketplace taking place at the same time so that it can begin winding its way through the intake process.PMDG 747 for MSFS:
