Airbus A340-600 by Airbus and Toliss Gets Native MSFS 2024 Version

Aerosoft and Toliss released 1.0.3 of their excellent Airbus A340-600 for MSFS.

The poster feature of the update is the migration to a native MSFS 2024 version, which is always appreciated. You can check out the changelog below.

  • Migrated project to native FS24 modular simobject structure
  • Added LODs
  • Fixed Taxicam for SU5
  • Added custom turbulence model. Intensity can be user adjusted in EFB
  • Display refresh rate is now user selectable
  • FPS improvement for ND route drawing
  • Added Pinned Charts and Airport quick access in Navigraph EFB
  • Added SimBrief import option to not populate INIT B
  • Added support for SayIntentions CPDLC
  • Fixed an issue leading to loss of MAN FLEX on engine failure during a Flex take-off
  • Fixed the cause for possible freezes of the FCU buttons after replay
  • Automatically clear the “F-PLN DATALINK IN PROG” message once the datalink is complete
  • Removed the “Always use SimBrief winds” option, as this is now the only source for wind data
  • Fixed an issue that could lead to certain mouse clicks in the EFB on the Navigraph page being ignored
  • Reduced the number of messages rejected by the ACARS system
  • Fixed an issue that caused a 30-second delay when downloading chart data for a new airport on the Navigraph EFB page
  • Added a fifth line to the DCDU to match the real-life configuration
  • Inhibited certain input events, such as terrain detection, while replay is active in order to continue after replay in the same state as before
  • Added code for FSCopilot integration

The aircraft is available on Aerosoft, Orbx Direct, and Contrail.

Sitia Public Airport for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 Releasing Next Week

MM Simulations announced that it plans to release its upcoming Sitia Public Airport (LGST) in Greece next week.

We also get to see a few new screenshots.

Florence Airport Released for MSFS 2024

Barelli MSFS Addon released a rendition of Florence Airport (LIRQ), Peretola in Italy, for MSFS 2024.

It’s available on Simmarket for $21.87, and you can see what it looks like in the trailer above.

Soa Airport v2 Released for MSFS 2020

Gudisim released version 2 of its Soa Airport in Indonesia for MSFS 2020 only.

It’s available on Simmarket for $9.17, but those who purchased version 1 are entitled to a free upgrade. It includes the following features.

  • Highly detailed recreation of Bajawa Soa Airport (WATB)
  • Accurate airport layout based on real-world references
  • Custom-modeled terminal building and airport facilities
  • Realistic PBR materials and textures
  • Detailed ground markings and apron areas
  • Custom airport lighting and navigational elements
  • Realistic landside and airside details
  • Enhanced surrounding environment inspired by the unique highland terrain of Flores
  • Optimized performance for all system configurations
  • Compatible with the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator updates

Abrolhos Archipelago Released for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

Skylogic Labs released a rendition of the Abrolhos Archipelago off the coast of Brazil for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020.

It’s available on Simmarket for $8.46. It includes the following features.

  • Compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 & 2024
  • Fully original custom scenery
  • Realistic terrain and environment recreation
  • Handcrafted landmarks and assets
  • Optimized for performance and visual quality
