Douglas DC-6 Cloudmaster by PMDG Updated for MSFS 2024
PMDG finally released the update for the DC-6 Cloudmaster that makes it compatible with MSFS 2024.
Here’s what you can expect directly from the lion’s mouth:
“Designed originally for MSFS 2020, we have adapted the airplane to ensure it functions normally and properly in MSFS. This was done primarily by adapting the LOD models to ensure visual stability in the MSFS 2024 platform. This allowed us to bring the 2020 version directly into MSFS 2024 with only minor technical changes made to ensure product stability on the new platform. We have not added new features or functionality, but instead focused on ensuring our customers could use this favorite PMDG product confidently in MSFS 2024.”
It’s a free update for everyone who previously purchased the aircraft for MSFS 2020, and can be installed via the PMDG Operations Center 3.
If you don’t yet have the aircraft, you can purchase it on the developer’s own store for $59.99 to receive both versions for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020.
The update should also come to the official marketplace, expected in 10-14 days.
BeyondATC Will Also Get Live FlightRadar24 Traffic Thanks to Navigraph Partnership

Apparently, FSLTL won’t be the only AI traffic add-on that will take advantage of the partnership between Navigraph and FlightRadar24 to bring live traffic to MSDS 2024 and MSFS 2020.
BeyondATC will also get the feature, and it’ll start testing in the experimental build “very soon.”
Here’s what you can expect, directly from the developer’s Discord server.
- What it is: Real-world live traffic data integrated into BeyondATC, supplementing your existing traffic experience
- What’s required: A linked Navigraph account with an active Unlimited subscription
- Is it optional? Absolutely — this is an entirely optional addition. Our schedule-based traffic will continue to be included as part of the one-time purchase price, because we remain fully committed to keeping core features subscription-free
- When? Experimental build testing is starting soon — stay tuned!
