Lancair Legacy Released in Beta for MSFS 2024

Flysimware released its Lancair Legacy for MSFS 2024. It’s available on the developer’s own store as a paid beta for $46.99.

For instance, the analog dashboard is not yet available, and it’ll come in an update in “likely in about four weeks.”

For now, you get the following features.

  • Real-world inspired operation
  • Realistic flight dynamics
  • 4K full PBR textures
  • Interactive environment sounds
  • All sounds produced using the game industry standard Wwise software
  • SimAcoustics engine sounds
  • Working Title G3X avionics
  • Selectable GTN integration options: PMS50 GTN 750 or TDS GTN 750Xi when installed
  • Windshield rain effects
  • Exterior icing effects
  • Dirt, dust, and mud effects depending on surface conditions
  • Maintenance system includes aircraft cleaning and service options
  • Rain can help clean the aircraft depending on weather intensity and aircraft movement
  • Tablet app integrated into the default MSFS 2024 tablet environment
  • Tablet app includes failure and wear system, maintenance options, aircraft setup, and other aircraft management features
  • TrueSim technology for deeper engine behavior, fuel system logic, failures, maintenance, and wear-and-tear simulation
  • Optional realism settings for users who prefer a simpler flying experience
  • Free Flight failure system controlled through the tablet
  • Failure modes include MTBF, speed-based, and scheduled failures
  • Save state for many switches, aircraft options, and supported systems

NZMC & NZGT Mount Cook Region 2024 V2 Gets New Trailer, Screenshots, and Details

NZA Simulations released a new trailer, screenshots, and details of its upcoming NZMC & NZGT Mount Cook Region 2024 V2 for MSFS 2024, via a listing on Orbx Direct.

While it’s still not purchasable, we do get plenty of details.

  • NZMC – Mt Cook Airport
  • NZGT – Glentanner Aerodrome
  • NZTW – Twizel Medical Center (NZTW) for Heli Rescue Operations
  • NZMD – Mount Cook Village Emergency / DOC Operations Site
  • Fully 3D modelled interior of the Mt Cook Terminal building and hangars.
  • Fully 3D modelled interior of Glentanner Park Centre and Cafe.
  • 8 Detailed Landmark Mountain Huts, including Plateau Hut, Sefton Bivouac, and Ball Hut, with Landmark POI markers for each and landing areas for Ski Planes.
  • Other locations of interest to the north-west are The Hermitage Hotel and other surrounding lodges.

Embraer Phenom 300E for MSFS 2024 Gets New Trailer Showing Customizable FBO

FSReborn released another trailer of the Embraer Phenom 300E business jet, which is going to be released “very soon” for MSFS 2024.

Interestingly, it shows a rather innovative feature, a customizable FBO that you can place anywhere you want.
