Salt Lake City International Airport v2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots and Dev Update
Pacific Island Simulations released a gallery of screenshots of Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC) v2, alongside a development update.
“We’re getting close to wrapping up the new FS2024 KSLC version and FS2020 KSLC update. Two new hangars at the GA area are currently being worked on including “The Peak” and Olympic sign at the airport main entrance/exit. Once those are done, we will send the files over to the VDGS developer to add new ones at the B concourse east gates. A complete changelog of the update/upgrade will be posted just before product release next month. Appreciate everyone’s patience while we work through the final stage.”
Tallinn City Landmarks Released for MSFS 2024
Ironsim released a set of landmarks for Tallinn, Estonia. It’s available on Orbx Direct and on Simmarket for about $11.
It includes the following features.
- 11 custom 3D landmarks across Tallinn
- Real-world scaled models using aerial references
- Fully optimized for performance with LODs
- Accurate placement and orientation
- Crisp PBR textures with realistic materials

Sarajevo International Airport Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Kiss Simulation released the MSFS 2024 version of its Sarajevo International Airport (LOSA).
It’s available on Simmarket for $15.25, but if you already have the version for MSFS 2020, you can get the upgrade at no additional cost.
It includes the following features.
- Real world runway length and profile
- Adjusted runway field height
- Real world ILS approach angle matching 3.2°
- Added additional Airport objects for improved visual refrences like RVR equipment or ILS antenna
- Custom animated runway guard lights
- Added new build terminal which is extending the old one
- Representation of 2025 Apron Layout
- Custom designed ground vehicles, including fuel truck and stair truck and GPU
- Custom pushback truck to match the Goldhofer AST-3
- Updated taxiway to match real world layout
- Custom taxiway and runway weathering to match real world weathering
Newark Liberty International Airport for X-Plane 12 is “Functionally Complete”
Drzewiecki Design released more screenshots of its upcoming Newark Liberty International Airport (KEWR) for X-Plane 12.
The developer has alsom provide a development update, with the indication that it’s coming soon.
KEWR for X-Plane 12 is now in the pre-release stage and the scenery is functionally complete.
Development is currently focused on final validation, consistency checks, and small refinements across the airport. All major systems and visual components are in place, with ongoing work limited to verification and fine-tuning.
The scenery includes a full-detail configuration, as well as an alternative simplified configuration, allowing users to choose their preferred visual complexity while maintaining the same external airport representation.
Recent work has finalized:
• The complete airside and landside environment
• Road network and bridge layouts with traffic
• AirTrain system
• Landside vehicles and airport activity
• Control tower detailing and population
• Full jetway coverage and gate alignmentAt this stage, development activity is focused on finalizing documentation, the installer, and remaining release preparations.
