Mount Isa Airport Announced for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

Orbx announced a new airport by indie developer Rob Byrne, and it’s Mount Isa Airport (YBMA) in Australia.

The store page is already open for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020, so it should be released soon. It’ll include the following features.

  • Detailed Terminal and Hangar Exteriors, custom GSE
  • Detailed Terminal Interior optimized for 2024 walkaround mode
  • Detailed hangar interiors for the original rustic Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) and Marker Aviation GA Hangar
  • Non-Directional Beacon Custom Model and VOR/DME Library Model
  • Night Lighting
  • Radios – NDB, VOR/DME, and automatic Weather AWIS/AWOS
  • YBMA is an uncontrolled airport on CTAF. The old, decommissioned Control Tower is still present and modelled.
  • Airport Services- marshaller for RPT bays, but no ground services or pushback man
  • Custom Runway and Apron Textures
  • Custom Runway and Taxiway lighting
  • Helicopter Operations Area with blue cone markers
  • Custom Windsocks, gable cones, markers
  • Carparks and Landside Structures
  • New Aeromedical Facility for Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) and LifeFlight
  • Static GA Aircraft , GA R22 Helicopter, and LifeFlight Rescue AW139 Helicopter
  • Original RFDS Hangar remains in Operation – Custom Ambulance, Refueling Tailer, Refueling Pallet
  • Smoke Stacks in the distance for Mount Isa Mines Copper and Lead Smelters and basic smelter Plants

F-117 Nighthawk Released Natively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Aerial Simulation released the MSFS 2024-native version of the F-117 Nighthawk.

It’s available on Orbx Direct and the Official marketplace for about $20 and those who own the MSFS 2020 version can get a free update.

It includes the folllowing features:

  • High-Resolution PBR textures and material inside and out
  • Detailed animations both inside and out
  • Blow-in doors
  • Aerial refuelling door
  • Canopy
  • Glare shields
  • Bomb bay doors, trapeze, and payload
  • APU door
  • Tailhook
  • Antenna
  • Parachute
  • Chocks and ladder
  • Radar Cross Section Monitoring (RCS) system
  • Custom Mach hold
  • Custom Drag chute simulation

Republic Airport Released for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

Republic Airport (KFRG) in the United States was released by Final Approach Simulations. It’s available for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 on Simmarket for $12.78.

It includes the following features:

  • Detailed airport buildings, hangars, and corporate FBOs, modeled accurately to real life.
  • 4k PBR textures with environment and night lighting.
  • Customized runway, taxiway, and apron textures.
  • Open hangars can be parked inside of with business jet aircraft such as the Citation Longitude. Choose a “DOCK” parking to start inside a hangar.
  • Airport ramps, FBOs, and hangars populated with dozens of static light aircraft and business jets, true to the real airport.
  • Includes American Airpower Museum, located on the northeastern side of the field.

Toronto Pearson International Airport Released for X-Plane 12

Globall Art released Toronto Pearson International Airport (CYYZ) in Canada for X-Plane 12. It’s available on Simmarket for $24.98.

Here’s what you can expect:

  •  Accurate replica of Toronto International Airport, Pearson, updated 2026. 
  • Precise modeling, from original references, photos and other studies. 
  • Customized lanes, decks and taxiways, with ambient occlusion included in the textures. 
  • Jetways and VGDS compatible with SAM Plugins (OpenSAM)
    • Controlled by SAM Plugins (OpenSAM)
  • Jetways Auto Gate with VGDS. 
    • by Marginal 
  • Static objects, vehicles and aircraft are present in this work. 
  • Avenues and streets with personalized and standard vehicle traffic 
  • 3D Trees 
  • Custom Airport Mesh and adjacent areas.
