Without further ado, I leave you with the news.

Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport Teased for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Microsoft Flight Simulator Fort Lauderdale

Verticalsim announced that in 2026 it’ll bring back a previously canceled project. In conjunction with the picture above, we know that it’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (KFLL), which was canceled back in May 2025.

On top of that, they promised “refreshed and redone versions of select past airports, FS2024 native versions of airports, and several brand-new airports.”

Paris Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam Schiphol, and Rio de Janeiro/Galeão Airports Announced for MSFS 2024 and X-Plane 12

Azrsim announced its roadmap for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and X-Plane 12.

Besides Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport (OEJN) in Saudi Arabia, which we already know about, new projects include Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (LFPG) in France, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM) in the Netherlands, and Rio de Janeiro/Galeão International Airport (SBGL) in Brazil.

It’s certainly an ambitious schedule, and especially Paris is starting to become a rather crowded market after years of drought.

The developer also pledges to continue updating and upgrading its current sceneries.

Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport Released for Free for MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020

Microsoft Flight Simulator Bucharest

rekinowy released a rendition of Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (LROP) in Romania, completely for free.

This is certainly a creation worthy of a payware airport, but you can find it for both MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020 on Flightsim.to. The fact that a scenery of this magnitude and quality is free is definitely impressive.

  • Airport layout accurate to the real-world state as of December 2025
  • Compatible with AI traffic
  • Handcrafted models of airport buildings, aprons and taxiways
