Dota 2’s premier esports tournament for the year, The International 2025, has concluded, and Team Falcons took the win after an intense series.
Before getting to the mainstage, Team Falcons had two solid wins against Nemesis and Tundra. However, when facing Xtreme Gaming, the three-hour series of matches ended with a loss.
While Team Falcons brought it back against Team Liquid afterward, it hit another roadblock loss against Tidebound. This put Team Falcon in a position to be eliminated in their match against Team Spirit, which was a favorite for the tournament. However, Team Falcons took a 2-0 win and progressed to the main stage.
From there, the team went on to get revenge against Tidebound in a 2-0 sweep. It also won against BB and PVision on its way to the Grand Final, where it went against Xtreme Gaming.
Team Falcons put up a fight for its rematch against Xtreme Gaming on the Grand Finals stage. It took five intense games to solidify its win, but Team Falcons came out on top. The team claimed the Aegis of Champions, and the five teammates’ names will be carved into it:
- Oliver “skiter” Lepko
- Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak
- Ammar “AMMAR_THE_F” Alassaf
- Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
- Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu
