Today, Aerosoft and TML-Studios announced that popular sim The Bus is leaving Early Access and launching in its full version on March 26, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The full release will include plenty of improvements, including even more features and fixes since the last 3.0 update. There are also now more routes and buses, AI buses join the traffic on Berlin’s roads, standing passengers for more authentic capacity and crowding, and new NPC models to enhance variety and city life.
Other changes like more authentic handling, vehicle modding support (PC), and physics, lighting, and audio enhancements can be see in the official release date trailer below:
- Reworked articulated bus damping and a new articulation damping system for more authentic handling
- Compressed air system that calculates the amount of compressed air in the various bus circuits in real time, influencing the sounds of the buses
- Force feedback enhancements so road surfaces feel more present while driving with a wheel
- Ongoing performance and stability optimization across systems
- Physics, Lighting and Audio Enhancements and Bug Fixing, Polishing
- Vehicle modding support on PC
- Multiplayer improvements
- Administration tools including temporary bans and improved reporting
The Bus was originally released into Steam early access for PC on March 25, 2021, and is developed by TML-Studios. Since then, it has expanded and improved steadily, with new content and deep technical upgrades designed to make every route feel more alive, responsive, and immersive.















Similar to Bus Simulator 21, players are in charge of the day-to-day operations surrounding the widely used mode of transportation, putting players behind the wheel of modern, officially licensed city buses in partnership with Berlin’s BVG. In the game, you’ll be able to operate authentic routes through the German capital, from Alexanderplatz to the Brandenburg Gate, navigating dense city traffic, shifting weather conditions, and dynamic time-of-day and seasonal variations.
