Knight Fever Games has opened up PC playtest signups for the upcoming Tabletop Game Shop Simulator. The developer and publisher also released a gameplay trailer diving into how the simulator plays and what fans can look forward to.
Tabletop Game Shop Simulator lets players run their own tabletop games shop. The gameplay trailer shows off that it’s not just selling and stocking shelves with tabletop-related items — of course, doing those things is a big part of the game, but players will also be able to make their own miniatures.
There’s an Osu-like minigame that determines how well players put figures together, which can then be sold or kept for the player’s personal collection. Additionally, players will need to paint and decorate the figures with a variety of different techniques and paint options.
Obtaining parts to do this requires players to open random mystery bags.
The tabletop immersion fun doesn’t end there. Players will also be able to play against customers, making a name for themselves in the local community.
The customers also have names, and players can forge relationships with them by serving them and helping them build miniatures.

Those excited for Tabletop Game Shop Simulator can sign up for the PC playtest here via Steam. There’s no exact release date yet, but the simulator is supposed to release this year.
