North American B-25J Mitchell for Microsoft Flight Simulator Releasing “Very Soon”

A flight simulation scene: Microsoft Flight Simulator B25

Aeroplan Heaven announced that its B-25J Mitchell will be released “very soon” for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Unfortunately, Echo19 Audio was scheduled to record the sounds of a real B-25 before release, but issues with the engines caused a delay for that recording. As such, the aircraft will launch with a non-final sound package and will get the real deal with an update.

The official page on the developer’s site is already up, so we get a features list.

  • HiFIdelity models with exceptional levels of detail
  • Beautifully crafted exterior and interior models have been built using the best drawings and references available.
  • Highly detailed Wright “Twin-cyclone” 14 cylinder radial engines
  • Accurate flight dynamics and performance envelope
  • Authentic sound packs developed by Echo19 using the real aircraft
  • Realistic systems and start routines

Here’s a list of the liveries included:
