As the title insinuates, Surviving Mars: Relaunched will be an expanded and remastered version of the original city-building survival title, which launched back in 2018. The Standard Edition will be available for $39.99 USD, or $19.99 USD for owners of the original game on the same platform. The Ultimate Edition will be available for $59.99, or $39.99 for owners of the original.

The remaster will add enhanced graphics, reworked UI, new gameplay features, and every piece of DLC ever released for Surviving Mars, from expansions to cosmetics. This will also bring Surviving Mars forward to the current console generation (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) and features cross-platform play mod support.

One of the most notable new gameplay features that is being added is the ‘Martian Assembly,’ which adds politics to the unforgiving environment of Mars, allowing players to shape their colonies through laws and policy and even push for full sovereignty from Earth.

The Ultimate Edition of Surviving Mars: Relaunched will also give owners instant access to a new Mission Sponsor: “Interplanetary Codex,” an organization that has already set its sights not just on colonizing Mars, but organizing it and preparing for its political future. This comes with a unique Law Office building and tools to manages the diplomatic relationships with Earth

Future expansions for the Ultimate Edition will also include Feeding the Future, which will expand food and production systems, introducing deeper management options and meal choices that affect comfort and sanity.
