Today Korean developer Shift Up hosted a “Special Christmas Livestream” and it included a treat for fans of Stellar Blade and Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
During the broadcast, we hear that a Stellar Blade crossover is coming to Nikke, albeit no details were provided. All we saw is a brief teaser trailer that you can enjoy below.
At the moment, we also don’t know whether the collaboration will go both ways or will only be on Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
That being said, its existence is certainly not a surprise, considering that the two successful games are made by the same company founded by renowned artist Kim Hyung Tae.
At the moment, no date or even a timeframe was shared for the collaboration, but they usually aren’t revealed too far in advance. The accompanying press release mentions that the crossover will “celebrate the unique connection between these games.”
Another collaboration has been announced, and Neon Genesis Evangelion is back, with a second event launching in February 2025.
For fans of Goddess of Victory: Nikke specifically, we also got a spiffy trailer for the next update, which will be titled “Footstep, Walk, Run.” It’ll come on December 26 with Papi: Red Hood version releasing on January 1.
If you’re unfamiliar with Goddess of Victory: Nikke, it’s a free-to-play RPG TPS currently available for PC, iOS, and Android.
Stellar Blade is currently available only for PS5, but a PC version is planned for 2025.
Shift Up is also working on a brand new AAA game code named Project Witches, which is going to be a new IP and should be revealed with more information in the first half of 2025.
Of course, we’ll keep you posted as soon as they announce anything solid about it.
