We get a small teaser trailer showcasing a chess theme and a few characters including two that could be the usual male and female versions of the protagonist, defined “Tyrant.”

The video also includes a blurb that repeats that definition.

A thousand years have passed, and the true history has crumbled away like weathered parchment. Yet, the world still trembles at the mention of the name “Tyrant.”

Your legacy awaits, Tyrant.

Funnily, the only spoken words in the trailer for the English audience are in Japanese. While the English subtitle says “Your legacy awaits, Tyrant,” the Japanese audio actually says “Welcome back, Demon King” showing the usual localization shenanigans.

The blurb on the Japanese version of the trailer is also a bit more specific about the game, mentioning that it’s a “fantasy RPG where travel and everyday life intersect” created by Yostar, and adding that the developers are working hard toward the official release.

You can check out the trailer below.

The publisher also released “concept” trailer which is basically music video with the theme song “To the Endless Sky” featuring music by Shigenobu Okawa and performed by Isekaijoucho. It also shows a bunch of characters.

Thes second video comes with its own blurb that recites as follows:

Where yearns the heart, endless possibilities await.
The unknown beyond the wall beckons, and someone must step into the wild to answer its call.
“If someone knocks on this door, the world would surely change.”

Trekkers bravely ascend the Monoliths with you by their side. This is your story.
Tales of love and hope await.

An official website is also open, including another look at the characters and the ability to pre-register for PC, iOS, and Android. Via the website, we learn more about the game.

Stella Sora is a top-down, light-action adventure game developed by YOSTAR. Step into the shoes of the “Tyrant” and team up with charming girls known as “Trekkers”. Together, conquer mysterious labyrinths called “Monoliths”, explore the fantasy land of Nova, and uncover secrets buried beneath the sands.

Lastly, we also get a gameplay trailer showing both action and storytelling.

The Discord server doesn’t provide more information besides the name of six factions. They are New Star Guild, Ashwind Clan, Goodwind Homecare, Independent Trekker, Post Haste Post Office, and Scarlet Sight Media.

If you’re unfamiliar with Yostar, it’s one of the most popular publishers of free-to-play mobile games out there, having published titles like Azur Lane, Blue Archive, Arknights, and more recently Heaven Burns Red.

Recently they opened an in-house development studio to create a new mobile IP, but we don’t know yet if Stella Sora is that IP. The copyright information on the imagery and website only mentions Yostar, so that’s a clear possibility.
