Another great sale has started on Steam for simulation fans – the Steam Space Exploration Fest.
This event lasts from now until September 9, 2024, and there are space-themed titles from every genre imaginable.
When it comes to simulation games, several stand out. Between the Stars is an exploration RPG sim that lets players lead a spaceship as they try to save the galaxy. They’ll need to explore and upgrade their ships while also fighting enemies.
Reentry – A Space Flight Simulator is a great choice for those who want a realistic space experience. It’s based on actual NASA flights and experiences, providing both simulated events and fictional events rooted in reality.
Perhaps one of the most unique space simulation games is Star Trucker, an automobile simulation. Players are searching for fortune among the stars, driving a truck through the galaxies to haul cargo. They’ll also need to maintain their rig and navigate space highways.
Several major space-themed games are on sale as well. This includes The Outer Worlds, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Starfield, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
For players looking to slow it down and relax a bit more, there are several open-world titles that are on the cozy side, including Astroneer, Creatures of Ava, Loddlenaut, and Little-Known Galaxy.
Players who want a bit more of a strategical challenge can check out Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth, Final Factory, and Distant Worlds 2.
