A new genre-focused festival has been launched on Steam, the Automaton Fest.
The festival focuses on games that let you create automated industrial systems with plenty of robots, conveyor belts, and assorted machines.
Among the titles featured are Shapez 80% off, Shapez 2 30% off, Opus Magnum 50% off, Shenzen 1/0 50% off, Production Line 70% off, Autonauts 50% off, Satisfactory 30% off, Dyson Sphere Program 20% off, Captain of Industry 30% off, Fortresscraft 85% off, and many more.
Many of the featured games also have demos, so you can try them before you buy, if you’re so inclined.
The festival will end on July 21 at 10 a.m. Pacific time, so you still have a few days to enjoy all the conveyor belts and robots your heart may be in need of.
You can find the full list on the dedicated page on Steam, and there’s even a trailer featuring some of the games included in the festival.
If you’re unfamiliar with Steam’s festivals, they are often launched on Valve’s popular PC digital distribution platform to celebrate a certain genre.
They go from fishing, to city building, visual novels, cooking, idlers, Horror, and more. They have become rather common as of late, often organized by the developers and publishers themselves.
They’re a good way to check out games you may not be aware of, especially while you wait for the next Steam Next Fest, which tends to cover a much wider range of titles.
Incidentally, the next festival will be the Racing Fest, from July 28 to August 4. The 4X Fest will follow from August 11 to August 18.
