Today, Sony announced that it’ll be bringing fans a special State of Play Japan that will be airing tomorrow, November 11, 2025, on YouTube at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET/ 11pm CEST | November 12 at 7 am JST.
State of Play Japan will be 40 minutes long, and will cover games from Japan and across Asian, featuring announcements and updates on both new and already revealed titles. The event will be hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, best known for his roles as Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan, Sabito in Demon Slayer, and Shoto Todoroki in My Hero Academia.
There will be a couple of ways to watch: the Japanese PlayStation YouTube channel will feature a full Japanese-language version, and the PlayStation YouTube channel will feature Japanese audio with English subtitles. You can see the prescheduled link for the broadcast right down below:
It is interesting to see that this State of Play will be region-specific. In the past, these events have obviously been dedicated heavily to Sony exclusive titles, with some games, like Ghost of Yōtei, getting their own event all by themselves.
While no titles have been confirmed for the event, since they are region-specific, it does narrow down the field a bit. Japanese and Asian titles could mean anything, including Ace Combat, Resident Evil, Tales of, Persona, Marvel Tokon, Phantom Blade Zero, and Metal Gear Solid.
