There are three days left until Starsand Island is launched in Early Access, and Seed Sparkle Lab has been counting down the days with new reveals, including the brand-new character customization options that are big improvements compared to the demo.
The goal of Starsand Island is to let players live their virtual island dreams, and the new character customization options will let them look how they want while doing it. A color slider has been added, letting players choose from any possible color when customizing their hair and eyes. This is a major improvement from the preset color palettes.
Of course, there are also options for hairstyles and eye iris designs.
There will also be over 100 facial designs, including things like eyebrows, makeup options (eyeliner, lipstick, etc), face paint, and more. Combined, this gives players a way to express themselves from the start of the game.
There’s also plenty more clothes and fashion choices with over 200 more wearable pieces. These can all be mixed and matched, too, giving players more freedom to show off their style. This also includes hats, which now function as their own wearable that can be put on any hairstyle (compared to before, where hats were locked with a hairstyle and considered their own hairstyle).
As previously shown off, Starsand Island will have a variety of clothing option styles, including both Eastern and Western fantasy designs, traditional styles, and casual clothes from around the world. Players will be able to craft some of these items, while others can be purchased.
There are 10 specific outfits that are inspired by different ethnic groups in China. These have their own matching traditional dance animations, too.
Players can check out several of these features in the screenshots below:

This is the latest news coming from Starsand Island’s Early Access launch countdown, which is now at three days. Previous days in the countdown introduced the voice actors in Chinese, English, and Japanese; showed off pets and their own customization options; and gave a new, more in-depth look at combat and fishing.
