Raw Fury and Monster & Monster have announced that Star Trucker, the truck sim set in space, will be available on PlayStation 5 on June 10.
Star Trucker is already available on PC and Xbox Series X|S. On June 10, a hefty update will be available on those consoles to match what’s releasing on the PlayStation 5.
The update will include several quality-of-life changes and some new features. According to a DevBlog that was also released today, these quality-of-life changes focus heavily on collisions and damage.
While some of these changes will show immediately, some of them will make the game easier to tweak moving forward. In general, most collisions will result in less damage than before.
One of the new features discussed includes the ability to fast forward time in the cab bunk. Players will be able to park their truck to do so. They’ll need to make sure they’re in an authorized area and that they have all the resources they’ll need while they’re sleeping.
Local authorities will slap fines on trucks that are in restricted areas, and even those that have been docked for too long.

Originally, the developers had plans for the update to be released already. However, it took a bit longer to do what Monster & Monster wanted, but it’s now got the green light to release with the PlayStation 5 release.
