The developer provided new screenshots of the game presented in comparison with images of their counterpart in the real world.

We start with Zaton, and the ruins of its Chornobyl Repair & Maintenance River Fleet Base. On the left below you can see the game, and on the right a real-world, picture by Project Chornobyl Zone – Radioactive Team.

Following the 2nd catastrophe in the game’s timeline, the river has drained, leaving a wasteland full of derelict ships.

Next is the 150-meter tall antenna of the Duga over-the-horizon radar.

Again, a screenshot of the game is followed by a real-world picture by the developers themselves.

The Red Fortress is the next area we get to take a look at, marked by the half-build 5th and 6th Reactor Core blocks of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The real-world picture is by Khomych.

Lastly, we take a look at the iconic abandoned city of Prypiat, portrayed in the real-world picture by Ihor Khomych.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl releases on November 20, 2024, following a slight delay that has been recently announced. The game has been in development for a long time, which is certainly understandable considering that GSC Game World is based in a country victimized by a brutal war of invasion.

If you’d like to see more of this highly anticipated game, recently GSC Game World also showcased an extensive deep dive video, which provided a look at plenty of the game’s locations, alongside combat gameplay and the creatures that try to survive in the Zone.

We also got to see a trailer focusing on cutscenes and another providing another good look at The Zone.
