Today, SNK Corporation revealed that the SNK World Championship 2025 will take place in Atlanta, bringing several different fighting games to the city in the US in the next two months, while they compete for a $4.14 million prize pool.
The championship will feature Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, The King of Fighters XV, Samurai Showdown, and Art of Fighting 3. It’s set to take place from October 31, 2025, to November 2, 2025, at the DreamHack.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will feature 32 finalists with a first-place prize of $1.5 million. This will include both qualifiers and the final event, and the entire prize pool is $2.5 million.
The following games will have first-place prizes as follows:
- The King of Fighters XV: $500,000 ($1 million prize pool)
- Samurai Showdown: $250,000 ($500,000 prize pool)
- Art of Fighting 3: $50,000 ($100,000 prize pool)
The King of Fighters XV will have 32 finalists, Samurai Showdown will have 16 finalists, and Art of Fighting 3 will be an open bracket.
Last Chance Qualifiers are still open for all games, with the exception of Art of Fighting 3 since it’s an open bracket. Players can sign up for the open bracket and Last Chance Qualifiers here.
Afterwards, the four champions from each game will go head-to-head in a special exhibition to determine the SNK Fighting Game Champion.
