Playstrom and SayGames have announced Shipping Store Simulator 2037, a futuristic simulator focused on managing a shipping business set in the near future.
Shipping Store Simulator 2037 puts players in charge of a shipping company, Rocket Post. The business venture is risky, as QuickBox is a dominant rival in the city of Cranelock, where the game takes place.
In order to manage the company and the variety of tasks it brings, players have to hire robots. Being in charge of robotic employees comes with a different set of responsibilities compared to human employees. For example, robotic staff have to be maintained and repaired over time, and spills can spell disaster for robots that don’t know how to go around.
As their business grows, players can experiment with other types of shipping methods, like drone deliveries. Players can manage this at their own pace, which is part of the plan to keep the game appealing for a range of players, according to CEO and Founder of Playstrom, Ivan Bogdanchuk:
“We aimed with Shipping Store Simulator 2037 to find that sweet spot between something that’s cozy and relaxing to play while providing the fun that comes from grinding and building up your business. If you like to min-max everything possible, or just enjoy unwinding with meaningful progress in a low-stakes environment, our game has something for all fans of the genre.”
Yegor Vaikhanski, CEO and Co-Founder of SayGames, also shared thoughts about Shipping Store Simulator 2037:
“We have enjoyed a very fruitful relationship with PLAYSTROM for many years, and we have each played a significant role in each other’s success. Shipping Store Simulator 2037 is the kind of easy to pick up but hard to put down fun that we prioritize in our titles, just available first on PC.”
