Triassic Games announced that the next big update for Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age is coming next month.

Precisely, we learn that it’ll launch in the growing early access naval strategy game on November 11, 2026.

Incidentally, that’s just one day before the second anniversary of the initial release of the game in early access, which happened on November 12, 2024.

It’ll bring campaigns set in the South Atlantic in 1982, recreating the conditions of the Falklands War, and introducing the orders of battle of the Royal Navy and Argentina.

Specifically, there will be two campaigns in the update, I suppose one for each faction.

While the specific units have not been revealed, you can see quite a few in the rather epic trailer below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age, it’s currently available in early access for PC via Steam.

It’s a real-time naval strategy simulation game set during the Cold War, but including plenty of different factions beyond the classic US and Soviet Union, like Japan, China, and more, allowing the simulation of plenty of different scenarios and conflicts, real and alternate-historical.

At the moment, the game doesn’t have a full release date. Earlier this year, it was expected in Q3 2026, but it was then delayed to 2027 alongside the much-awaited fully dynamic campaign mode.

Incidentally, it’s one of the first strategy simulation games revealed under MicroProse‘s umbrella when the historical publisher was officially revived in 2019, alongside Task Force Admiral – Vol.1: American Carrier Battles and more.
