Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Puts Bachelorette Pilika in the Spotlight

Marvelous has been dropping character trailers every few days for the love interests of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, and the latest one was for the quiet huntress Pilika.

Pilika is a huntress from the northernmost parts of Azuma. She’s incredibly talented, and she’s honorable in her hunting. Pilika’s very skilled in her hunting, and her blunt personality lets players know exactly what she’s thinking.

She seems to be created after the Ainu, the indigenous people of Northern Japan. However, it’s not officially stated — though her appearance and description hint at the inspiration.

In order to romance Pilika, players will need to have the Seasons of Love DLC pack. This pack also includes a few new outfits, swimsuit options, and the romance for Cuilang.

Right now, Pilika’s character trailer is only in Japanese. However, Marvelous USA has been releasing the English versions of the trailers shortly after they’re released in Japanese. For now, players can watch the Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma character trailer for Pilika below:

So far, most of the bachelors and bachelorettes in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma have their own character trailers. Excited fans can find our coverage of them below:

Marvelous also released special trailers for the bachelors and bachelorettes on Valentine’s Day this year. These contain different clips for each of the romanceable characters.

The only characters left who could potentially get their own trailers are Kaguya and Subaru, the main protagonists. Marvelous may also release trailers for other NPCs in the game, too.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will be released on June 5, 2025, on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
