Road Studio has given fans an inside look at the current state of development for Road Truckers: New Beginning, its upcoming trucking RPG.
To start with, Road Studio revealed that the game will work with most wheels on the market, including force feedback and shifters, from brands like Thrustmaster, Logitech, Moza (PC), and Fanatec (PC).
The map of Road Truckers: New Beginning will include three main cities: Prospero, Abrigo, and Foraleza.
Prospero gives players a look at a rocky, barren terrain that’s mostly home to factories. Abrigo is a lesson in mismanaged cities, where you’ll find decrepit houses and a big, flashy stadium. Last but not least is Foraleza, which is the rich capital that’s full of skyscrapers.
The developers are working on making sure the areas between cities are just as gorgeous to keep players enjoying the drive.

The studio also shared a look at the night and rain visuals. There are different intensities for rainfall, and the time of day has an impact on it as well.
Players will also be able to customize different interior and exterior parts of their truck. They’ll also be able to customize the colors of these parts, using an RGB shader to find the perfect color.

Road Truckers: New Beginning has a steep learning curve, since players will need to know how to manage and operate their truck while also learning the controls for doing things that align with the RPG side of the game.
To help, there will be a Driving School option on the main menu, giving players a way to learn how the game’s trucking mechanics work. There will also be more instruction in the main game, too.

The development team is also working hard on other facets of the game, such as sound implementation, controls, and achievements.
Road Truckers: New Beginning is set to release in Q2 2026, on PC and PlayStation 5.
