Specifically, we get to take a look at a mission instructing the player to reopening a trail, which involves clearing it from obstacles and repairing damaged signs.

There appears to also be quite a lot of trash to pick and additional repairs to do, including benches.

While the gameplay is very brief, it’s the first time that we get to see what the game will actually look like in motion. Before we had seen a cinematic trailer, but this gives a clearer idea.

You can atch it below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator, it was announced by Astragon a little more than a month ago, developed by To-Go Games.

It’s coming to PC in early access via Steam and the Epic Games Store, but it doesn’t have a release date just yet.

Besides clearing trails, players will be tasked with assisting visitors and documenting wildlife “in a living, breathing ecosystem.” There will be diverse biomes including forests, meadows, and riversides, inhabited by over 10 animal species with different subspecies.

You don’t need to explore on foot, as you’ll also be able to drive the ranger’s iconic pickup truck, and you can even select between casual and simulation difficulty settings, although what they will entail still remains unclear.

It’ll be interesting to see how this game will fare in the rather crowded field of job simulator, but we’ll certainly keep an eye on it.
