Today, Ubisoft announced that a free-to-play, tactical first-person shooter mobile game from the renowned Rainbow Six franchise is releasing worldwide on February 23, 2026, for iOS and Android devices.
Just like the console version of the game, Siege, Rainbow Six Mobile will pit teams against each other in 5v5 Player-vs-Player (PvP) in Attack vs. Defense game modes. Attackers will deploy observation drones to gain intel and strategically breach through destructible walls, floors, and ceilings, and defenders will barricade entry points and use spy cameras or traps to secure their location.
At launch, the mobile version will feature access to more than 20 operators, including Ash, Mute, and Dokkaebi, as well as Iconic maps, including Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon, and Villa. There will also be two mobile-exclusive maps introduced in this version: Restaurant and Summit.
Rainbow Six Mobile will also feature an onboarding tutorial to help players get the basics of how the game plays differently on a phone. You can check out a good look at what to expect from gameplay below.
