KW Studios has revealed the patch notes for the latest RaceRoom Racing Experience update on June 18, and the racing sim is continuing to make improvements to how the physics feels, as well as improving several of the vehicles available.

Several of the changes focus on improving the physics of the sim as developers try to make it feel as realistic and true-to-life as possible. The RaceRoom Racing Experience June 18 patch notes specifically discussed suspension kinematics and accuracy, along with damper tuning.

Suspension kinematics, in this update, refers to how various components move. This affects how cars feel when they’re being driven because of things like load transfer and camber.

Damper tuning pays attention to the load variance of tires. In turn, this impacts suspension, and developers are working to make sure that each car is equally tuned.

Specific changes to various cars were also part of this update. The cars included are the DTM 2013-2016 and the KTM X-Bow RR.

For the DTM 2013-2016 vehicles, the aerodynamics and suspension behavior have been modified and updated to cars that were from the same era. However, this has made it so that any old setups on these cars do not work on the cars as they are after the June 18 update.

The KTM C-Bow RR got a complete rework, with everything from the original car scraped. The rear wing that was added in previous versions was removed again, giving players a chance to master the loose rear end of the car.
