Promise Mascot Agency, the funny management simulation visual novel from Kaizen Game Works, has a free demo available on Steam, giving players a chance to try out the wacky game ahead of its release.
Promise Mascot Agency touts itself as a genre-defying open-world collecting RPG where players collect and manage mascots. The goal, of course, is to turn a profit as players send off the mascots to different jobs around the cursed (and fictional) Japanese town Kaso-Machi.
The jobs help both the good and not-so-good people in the town, and players will have to use their Hero Cards to support their mascots. Mascots will inevitably break down, and players will need to help get them back on their feet.
Players will also get around in an old Kei Truck. The truck itself can be upgraded, and players can drive around and explore the town, collecting things and solving mysteries.
The demo itself is roughly 80 minutes long. The voiced cast includes quite a few well-known names, like:
- Ex-yakuza Michi, voiced by Takaya Kuroda (Yakuza: Like a Dragon)
- Chaos Goblin Pinky, voiced by Ayano Shibuya (The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom)
- Captain Sign, voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama (featured in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask)
The Promise Mascot Agency demo is available on PC (via Steam and Epic Games), PlayStation, and Xbox. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but it is set to come out sometime in 2025.
