Giants Software has revealed that the Factory Driver Challenge in Project Motor Racing is getting a new format with rotating challenges to keep things fresh.
Previously, the Factory Driver Challenge in Project Motor Racing was a fixed format. However, the new version will feature rotating challenges that feature one car on one circuit with one target. There will also be a leaderboard that shows the top 100+ players to complete the challenge.
These events will rotate every two weeks. They’ll include a wide variety of cars every two weeks, including DLC cars that will be available as loaners for those who don’t have the extra content.
These challenges test players in various aspects of the simulator, whether that’s braking skills, traction control, speed, and more. This is done through a combination of the car and the track available for the challenge.
These new Factory Driver Challenges start today and will be available until July 14, 2026, and are as follows:
- Ford Mustang GT3 on Sebring International Raceway – GP
- Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport on Northampton – International
- BMW V12 LMR on Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
- Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar on Daytona International Speedway
- Dodge Viper Competition Coupe on Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
- Mazda RX-7 GTO on Mount Panorama Circuit
Project Motor Racing and the new Factory Driver Challenge format is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
