PinCool has revealed that the release date for Pritto Prisoner — its upcoming wacky four-versus-two party game involving adorable animals, robotic enemies, and a rather large amount of matter that belongs in toilets — is actually December 25, 2025.
Pritto Prisoner tasks players with escaping prison after choosing one of the super-cute animal characters. There’s a group of four escapees who are trying to get out before being caught by two customizable robots.
The animals have various skills that make each one unique beyond their adorable designs. Additionally, the robots can be equipped with various gadgets to aid them in stopping the escaped convicts.
In order to escape, there are toilets attached to a fill gauge that open up escape routes. And, well, players have to fill the toilets before the robotic guards can stop them.
PinCool also put out a new trailer celebrating the release date of Pritto Prisoner, which players can view below:
Pritto Prisoner comes from the former Dragon Quest Producer Ryutaro Ichimura, though this is the first game to come from the developing studio. The character design is also by Kanahei, a Japanese illustrator who’s known for Kanahei’s Small Animals, like Usagi and Piske.
Pritto Prisoner is set to release on December 25, 2025, on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. A bundle that includes DLC will be announced a bit closer to launch. However, so far, there are 30 DLC options available on Steam. These range from skins for the players’ characters to weapon skins.
The game currently has a demo that players can enjoy now before it’s released, following a limited-time open beta earlier this year.
