The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon Pokopia is getting the first wave of its Expansion Pass content, Part 1: Bubbly Basin, and the free Version 2.0 update on August 5, 2026.
The free Version 2.0 update for Pokémon Pokopia will introduce players to the Mythical Water-type Pokémon Manaphy, who will teach them how to use Dive. By using Dive, players will be able to explore the underwater areas in Pokémon Pokopia, building structures underwater and swimming with their Water-type Pokémon friends.
This also ties into Bubbly Basin, the first part of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass. Players who purchase the Expansion Pass will get access to Bubbly Basin, an underwater town. There, they’ll meet more Pokémon, get new furniture and outfits, make new food, and get access to new, buoyant blocks that can float under the water.
Players will also be able to grow watermelons, use fun new bubble machines, and even build a Sharpedo submarine to make a Secret Base-like room.
Players can check out a new Pokémon Pokopia trailer for the upcoming content below:
