HoYoverse has officially revealed its cozy life sim title, Petit Planet.
Petit Planet puts players in the stars, a feature that’s spanned nearly all of HoYoverse’s games. Players will nurture a planet, growing crops, decorating the landscape, and more. Over time, they’ll connect to different planets that are home to adorable creatures that can become Neighbors.
Players can get closer to these Neighbors and help their planets to grow each planet’s Luca, or its vitality. Luca will help shape each planet’s landscapes.
Neighbors are unique fuzzy characters that have their own personalities, aspirations, and stories to learn. Players can invite them to stick around, getting closer to them by having conversations and giving gifts.
Petit Planet is a life sim, so there are several mechanics like farming, fishing, mining, crafting, cooking, and even beachcombing. Players will enjoy time with their Neighbors while customizing their spaces. This includes indoor and outdoor decorating, themed furniture sets, and outfits.
Plus, players can hop into their space vehicle to go on a “Starsea Voyage.” This includes a variety of interstellar activities, like exploring unknown planets, finding rare creatures, learning recipes, and even going to the Galactic Bazaar.
The Galactic Bazaar is a social hub, where festival events are held. This is also where players can meet other players.
Petit Planet has been rumored for years, though a source told Simulation Daily a month ago that it was being announced soon. The announcement has come now that the closed beta test for Honkai: Nexus Anima, another upcoming HoYoverse game, has been completed.
