HoYoverse will soon reveal Petit Planet, a new game that will join its popular lineup, including Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero.

The information comes from sources familiar with the developer’s plans, who shared it with Simulation Daily on the condition of remaining anonymous.

Petit Planet will be a life sim, and it’ll launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, and mobile. The official reveal should come sometime next month,

Like the rest of the HoYoverse lineup, it’ll be free to play, but we heard that the monetization model is going to be somewhat different from what we’ve seen in previous games by the developer.

The visuals feature, as usual, the cute anime-like style that Genshin Impact fans are accustomed to.

Of course, you can expect to read a lot more details here on Simulation Daily as soon as HoYoverse reveals the game officially. It’ll certainly be interesting to see if the developer will manage to add another worldwide success to its trophy case.

If you’re not familiar with HoYoverse, it’s a popular developer based in Shanghai, China, where it’s known as MiHoYo.

While Genshin Impact is not its first game, it’s the title that put MiHoYo on pretty much everyone’s radar when it released in 2020. It has been going strong for five years with regular updates, and it’s now on version 5.8.

Honkai: Star Rail was then released in 2023, also reaching enormous levels of popularity worldwide, thanks to its turn-based battle style resembling classic and beloved RPGs.

More recently, the developer launched Zenless Zone Zero, featuring an interesting urban fantasy setting and super-fast action combat.
