ReedPop and Penny Arcade revealed today that PAX East 2026 will return to the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, and will take place from Thursday, March 26, through Sunday, March 29, 2026.
PAX East 2025 officially wrapped up over the weekend, welcoming over 100,000 attendants, and even more fans tuning in digitally via streaming platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Steam. The show floor was home to plenty of games like Elden Ring Nightreign, Crimson Desert, and Dune: Awakening, allowing fans to get a glimpse of what to expect from each upcoming 2025 title a bit early.
There were also plenty of indie games, tabletop events, and tournaments throughout the con floor, as well as live panels, concerts, and elaborate cosplays off the floor. You can see some of the highlights of PAX East 2025 via its official YouTube channel.
While the March date might seem odd considering the most recent event just took place in May, previous iterations of the Boston version of PAX usually will take place around that time. This year’s was delayed due to a scheduling conflict with another convention that was already booked.
PAX doesn’t just take place on the East Coast, as there are plenty of other upcoming Penny Arcade events taking place in 2025.
