The first part of Palworld update v0.7 is the Ultrakill collaboration. This adds several weapons and armor that are iconic to the franchise. It even includes the V1 coin toss.

A big feature of the Palworld v0.7 update is the improvements to building. There are a plethora of new building parts, including triangular pieces to make building even better than before.

Additionally, players will be able to adjust the color of building pieces as well. Plus, the building menu has been redesigned. Now, everything is organized in a list that’s easier to navigate.

Other changes are coming to raid bosses. When summoning a raid boss, players can choose to fight at their base or get transported to a special Raid Area. These Raid Areas can also be accessed temporarily to let players bring items into them.

A new raid boss is also part of the Home Sweet Home update.

When it comes to combat, Pocketpair has focused on buffing melee. Swords, katanas, and beam swords have been improved, giving players a way to attack consecutively by holding the attack button.

Additionally, katanas and beam swords now have special attacks.

More updates for melee combat are planned for the future, but this is the first step to making the fighting method viable in later game content. Players can get an idea for what’s been changed in the video below:

Last but not least is the introduction of PvP, sort of. Pocketpair pointed out that it’s hard to implement PvP, even though the community has been asking for it for quite some time.

To solve the problem, Pocketpair is releasing PvP tools into the game so players can implement it in their own servers. This lets them set their own rules and boundaries.

This is an experimental feature right now, so there may be problems or balancing adjustments that will need to be made.

As Palworld continues moving towards its full release, Pocketpair expressed that these updates may look more like improvements versus tons of new content. Players can check out the full patch notes here.

For now, players can enjoy the new content and improvements in the Palworld v0.7 update. A trailer for the update can be watched below:
