A new Palworld update is here, v0.4.14, and it brings several new skins and adjustments/fixes for players to enjoy.
The five new Spring Festival skins are free for players. They include the following:
- Fortune-Bringer Cattiva
- Fortune-Bringer Lyleen
- Fortune-Bringer Lyleen Noct
- Lion-Dacer Chillet
- Lion-Dancer Chillet Ignis
The skins should appear in the Pal Dressing Facility as long as the correct Pal is in a Pal Box or the party.
Pals have had several adjustments as well — when they’re summoned, they’ll target the closest enemy. At base, large Pals will path like small Pals. This means they can go through narrow areas and not hit other Pals or objects.
Killamari now has a water element and is more efficient at watering. Additionally, Mammorest and Mammorest Cryst have the earth element.
The following balance adjustments were made:
- Batteries in the large electric egg incubator hold more power, while the incubator requires less power
- The target area range near the reticle has been increased when there’s only one enemy
- Normal and Alpha Pals have the same stamina (this was a bug)
- Plasma cannon blueprint will no longer drop from large oil rig treasure chests
- Advanced Bow damage drops off at a longer distance
- Weapons and armor require less plasteel
- Crude oil extractors produce oil quicker
- Weapons and armor are more durable
Quite a few bugs were also fixed in Palworld update v0.4.14, which players can see here. For the most part, the bugs were uncommon.
Palworld has consistently added new content for players since it was released just over a year ago. Last month, the giant Feybreak update (and subsequent updates) added quite a bit of content to the game. Plus, Pocketpair released a roadmap earlier this week, detailing what players can expect through the next year.
Some of the most exciting news from the roadmap includes collaborations like the one between Palworld and Terraria.
