Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase July 31, 2025 – All the News and Reveals

The July 31, 2025, Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase featured titles from developers and publishers outside of Nintendo, including quite a few new announcements mixed with more news on older reveals.

To kick things off, Capcom showed off its next Monster Hunter Stories title, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, which is set to release in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Bandai Namco then showed Once Upon A Katamari, a rolling, multiplayer platformer coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on October 24, 2025.

Next, Ubisoft showed off Just Dance 2026 Edition, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 14.

Bandai Namco also revealed that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 14, 2025. The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

EA showed off Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, which is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23, 2025.

Next, EA showed what EA Sports FC 26 looks like on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, which is releasing to the consoles on September 26, 2026. At the same time, the game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Bandai Namco is also bringing Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 26, 2025.

Next, Square Enix showed off Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles, adding brand-new dialogue and a fully-voiced experience, which is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 30, 2025.

Sega revealed that Persona 3 Reload is headed to the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23, 2025. The game is already available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, the hack-and-slash title from Koei Tecmo that shows the events leading up to Tears of the Kingdom, was featured, which is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in Winter.

Next, EA showed EA Sports Madden NFL 26, which is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on August 14, 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 is also getting Chillin’ by the Fire by Oink Games, a multiplayer sim focused on creating (and maintaining) campfires. The sim is set to release today.

EA also announced that Apex Legends will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on August 5, 2025. It’s already available on the Switch, but the Switch 2 version has been improved and optimized to run better than ever.

Knights Peak showed off Hela, an adventure-platformer where players explore the world as a tiny backpacking mouse. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.

Ubisoft showed off Star Wars Outlaws on the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, 2025. The game is already available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S.

Next up was a look at Cronos: The New Dawn from Bloober Team, which is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 on September 5, 2025.

Sega showed off Yakuza Kiwami 2 next, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 13, 2025. The first game in the series, Yakuza Kiwami, is also releasing to the Switch 2 on the same day. Both games are available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

The rapid-fire short trailers that Nintendo dubs the Sizzle Reel were next, and included several titles that fans already knew were coming to Nintendo.

First up was Goodnight Universe from Skybound Games, which is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 11, 2025.

Outright Games showed off NBA Bounce, which is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2025.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s Wheatflour Wonderland DLC from Sublink is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in Fall 2025.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven from Square Enix is getting a Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade, which is available now.

Sega revealed that Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, its upcoming 2D side-scrolling action game, will be headed to the Nintendo Switch as well as PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on August 29, 2025. A free demo is available on all platforms today.

Last but not least for the July 31, 2025 Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Sizzle Reel was 2K Games’ Borderlands 4, which is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 12, 2025. The game will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2, though not until October 3, 2025.

Square Enix also revealed a brand-new HD-2D ARPG coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 called The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. The game is coming in 2026, though a demo will be available today.

Square Enix also revealed Octopath Traveler 0, which will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2025.
