The first is the Hunting Horn, one of the series’ most peculiar weapons. It’s basically a hybrid between a giant warhammer and a musical instrument.

Not only can it be used to wreak havoc on monsters with massive blunt force, but you can also play it to give yourself buffs. Of course, these buffs also affect your allies.

Another feature of the Hunting Horn is echo bubbles, that can be placed on the battlefield to create area effects.

The Gunlance has extended reach on its side, and it can also fire explosive shells. Defensively, you can sidestep or guard, creating a good mix between offense and defense.

You can watch the trailers below.

Monster Hunter Wilds is a successor of the successful console entry in the series Monster Hunter World, originally released in 2018.

It features an extensive ecosystem simulation that will see monsters live their lives and interact with each other in a realistic and complex way.

As an innovation compared to its predecessor, ut includes changes to the ecosystem due to climate, with moments in which conditions are harsh and hostile, while others in which areas are vibrant and brimming with life, affecting the life of monsters and their herds.

Monster Hunter Wilds is coming in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

If you want to see more weapons in action, you can take a look at the Greatsword, the Heavy Bowgun, and the Insect Glaive.
