Capcom held its December 2025 Monster Hunter Showcase, giving fans new details about the free Title Update 4 coming to Monster Hunter Wilds and more details about Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
Monster Hunter Series Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto hosted the Showcase, starting with a new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. In it, players learn about Invasive Monsters who are trying to take over territories. The characters in Twisted Reflection are trying to reclaim that land at the start.
The trailer also revealed the Habitat Rehabilitation feature, which tasks players with finding rare eggs, or Endangered Species, hatching them, and sending them back out into the wild when they’ve found (or created) the perfect home for them.
These eggs are often found in Invasive Monsters’ territories. In order to get to them, they’ll need to drive the Invasive Monster back to its own den — they’re too strong to defeat. Once they go back to their den, they go to sleep, and players can grab the egg and make a run for the exit.
When an Endangered Species is no longer endangered, players can find their eggs and make them Monstie partners. Players can improve the ecosystem in an area by releasing the correct monsters in the correct areas. The higher the ecosystem rating, the more likely it is that eggs will hatch with special features.
It can even create Dual-Element Monsters, which take on the element of the area it’s hatched in. This also creates new Variants of the monsters.
Considering players are the leaders of the Rangers, a group that’s tasked with preserving the monsters in the wild. Of course, there’s more to the story than that, which players can learn about here.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is set to release on March 13, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The Monster Hunter Showcase ended with a look at the Monster Hunter Wilds free Title Update 4.
To start with, players will be able to challenge the elder dragon Gogmazios. This is a special quest where players will team up with seven other hunters to complete. Players need to be HR 100+ and need to complete the main mission “A First Cry.” HR 100+ players will also be able to take on the Arch-tempered Jin Dahaad.
The resources dropped by the Gogmazios can be used to upgrade Rarity 8 Artian Weapons into Gogma Artian Weapons. The Arch-tempered Jin Dahaad will also drop materials for new hunter (and Palico) equipment.
There are also several new features coming in the Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4, including Armor Transcendence, more optional quests with nine-star monsters, and more support hunters (Nadia and Griffin).
There will also be a Seasonal Event, the Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn. There will be winter-themed decor, seasonal food, new equipment, and even pop-up camp decorations. Players will also get login bonuses and special event quests, which Fabius and Nadia can join players on.
Additionally, new downloadable content is coming. This includes four new poses, a Character Edit voucher, and a Palico edit voucher will also be available for free. Cosmetic DLC Pack 4 will be released, which includes layered weapons. Other DLC is also coming with poses, hairstyles, pendants, and more.
The Title Update 4 for Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on December 16, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn will take place from December 19, 2025, to January 14, 2026. The Arch-tempered Jin Dahaad will be added a bit later on December 24, 2025.
That’s not all, though. Another update, Version 1.041, will be coming on February 18, 2026, which will add a Special Collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the Arch-tempered Arkveld quest, and voiceovers in Latin American Spanish. There will be an update between the two that focuses on the game’s stability on Steam.
The free Title Update 4 will be the last major content update for Monster Hunter Wilds.
