Netmarble has revealed the release date for the free-to-play monster-taming RPG Mongil: Star Dive, and it’s coming to players on April 15, 2026.
Mongil: Star Dive takes players to the world of Belana, where monsters, humans, and demihumans all exist peacefully. There, they’ll encounter a problem that involves the world’s monsters, and will travel with companions and Monsterlings to solve it.
There’s a three-character, real-time, fast-paced combat system where players will tag in and out to make strategies. They’ll use their characters and the monsters they catch in combat.
Players will be able to bind monsters, who then transform into Monsterling forms. In this form, players can use their stats in combat. This also comes with a super cute keychain-esque look for the monster.
Mongil: Star Dive has had several closed beta tests, and it’s also got a demo going at GDC 2026 this week.
In fact, it also revealed new gameplay footage, which players can check out below. It shows off some of the latest characters revealed, combat, monster-taming and monster fusion, exploration, and more.
Players can pre-register now, which will net them rewards when Mongil: Star Dive launches.
Kent Kim, CEO of Netmarble Monster, shared comments about Mongil: Star Dive:
“We are focusing all of our efforts on final polishing to deliver MONGIL: STAR DIVE at the highest level of quality. We will repay the anticipation of players around the world with a game that meets their expectations.”
Mongil: Star Dive is set to release on April 15, 2026, on PC and mobile (iOS and Android). The game will be released at the same time worldwide. In the meantime, players can learn about the various areas of Belana and the characters introduced so far on the game’s official website.
