From the official post, we learn that the helicopter is now in early beta testing for MSFS 2020. The developer is aiming to release the helicopter and the accompanying Miltech Mission Hub for both simulators, PC and Xbox, and on all distribution networks at the same time, albeit the plan may change if unforeseen challenges were to occur.

The helicopter itself will be a single release, including the MH60 S, R, and T variants. The price will be in the mid-high $30s. All the weapons systems, liveries, cabin setups, and 4 mini-sceneries will also be included.

The MSFS 2024 version will be native, albeit conversion has not yet started. The developers don’t expect it to take more than a week. There will be no upgrade fees or anything of the sort.

The Militech Mission Hub will be priced in the low-mid $10s, and it’ll include over 30 Missions and naval assets (see below). There will be bundles with the MH-60 and other carrier-focused products. This will also be for both simulators with no upgrade fees.

The Militech Mission System is fully independent from the MSFS 2024 career mode and can use specific triggers to initiate actions. Created missions can be shared.

It comes with the capability to create the following missions.

Firefighting

  • Predefined Missions: Missions whose routing and actions has been designed by a team of developers, with little room for flexibility.
  • On-Demand, Custom Mission: User-created missions, fully customizable.
  • Randomized Location: Simple missions consisting in extinguishing a fire at a random location nearby.

Search and Rescue (SAR) Operations

  • Predefined Missions
  • On-Demand, Custom Mission
  • Randomized Location

External Transport Operations (Sling Loads)

  • Predefined Missions: Land-to-Land, Land-to-Ship, Ship-to-Land, Ship-to-Ship
  • On-Demand, Custom Missions

Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)

  • Mission types designed around maritime patrol, sonar operations, and sub-surface engagement, integrated with the sonodipper and sonobuoys functionality on the aircraft module.

Shipborne Missions

  • Dynamic deployment of missions from naval vessels, anywhere in the world

While it’ll initially include missions for the MH-60 only, it’ll then be expanded to other Militech products, the CH-47 Chinook, the V-22 Osprey, and Mirage 2000c.

Planned additions include:

  • Aerial Refueling
  • Tactical Campaigns
  • Heavy Cargo Operations
  • Surveillance and Reconnaissance Missions
  • Multiplayer Compatibility

Other developers will be able to utilize the system for free and will receive a dedicated software development kit after signing “a straightforward licensing agreement to define usage terms.”

Two “well-known developers” (unnamed, for now) already intend to use the system. That being said, it can be used with any aircraft.

The package will also come with the following assets:

  • New Detailed Naval Assets: USCG Cutters, LHD Juan Carlos I, HMAS Adelaide, HDMS Triton
  • Maritime Rescue Scenes: Sinking Ship, Cruise Ship Patient rescue scenes, Antipiracy Scenes
  • Misc Vessels: Hospital Ship, Cargo Ships
  • Submarines: Russian, American, and Contraband Submarines
  • Miscellaneous SAR Scenes: Mountain Rescue, Sea Rescue. Astronaut Rescue

It’s also fully compatible with Militech’s naval packages, Supercarrier Pro, UK Carrier Strike, and Amphibious Ready Group.
