The airport is now available on Orbx Direct, Contrail, and Simmarket at about $21.21.

It includes the following features:

  • Highly detailed and accurate recreation of LSGG Geneva Airport
  • Fully functional Visual Docking Guidance System (VDGS) at all stands
  • Beautifully modeled interiors of all terminal buildings
  • Dynamic airside traffic that adapts to the time of day and weather conditions
  • Realistic snowbanks and snow removal vehicles influenced by weather
  • Custom GSX profile (by pvrlpe) for seamless ground handling integration
  • Developed with support from Geneva Airport for the highest level of realism
  • Stunning night lighting that brings the airport to life after dark
  • Optimized for smooth performance across a variety of system configurations
  • Serves a diverse range of air traffic, from large airlines to business and general aviation

If the visuals feel familiar it’s because the textures carry the very recognizable photorealistic style of Marcus Nyberg, who you may remember for his Nordic airports made for Orbx like Stockholm Arlanda and Bromma.

Microsoft Flight simulator is currently available for PC and Xbox Series X|S.

If you’re interested in flight simulation, it’s very likely that you’re eager to know more about the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, which is coming on November 19 for the same platforms.

You can find the full aircraft list coming with each edition, our hands-on preview with plenty of details for your perusal, our interview with Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann and Asobo CEO Sebastian Wloch, and our crazy A-10 flight through the gorgeous rendition of the Grand Canyon. There’s a lot more to come over the next few days, so make sure to stay tuned for more coverage.
