Today Aerosoft released an extensive video focusing on its upcoming Frankfurt Airport (EDDF) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, also including an interesting tease at the end.
The video stars Jo Erlend, who is pretty much a celebrity among airport builders due to the extreme quality of his creations.
We hear about the work that has gone into designing this massive airport, and some of the challenges. Of course, we also see the current state of the build, which is extremely impressive.
You can check it out below.
At the end of the video, Aerosoft teases the number 4. I believe that may be a tease that the company may be working on an Aiirbus A340. In fact, we do see one taking off from the runway at Frankfurt, and it doesn’t appear to be an AI model.
Of course, that’s just my speculation, but Aerosoft is currently working on an Airbus A330 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and the jump to the A340 wouldn’t be massive in terms of model and especially systems.
Ultimately, we’ll have to wait and see. If Aerosoft has an A340 in the works for Microsoft Flight Simulator, they’re likely to announce it down the line, perhaps after the A330 is complete of shortly before that.
