After a long wait, Fenix has finally released the Airbus A321 and A319 expansion for its popular Airbus A320 add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The expansion does exactly what it says on the tin, bringing the longer and shorter versions of the airliner to the simulator, greatly expanding your passenger-carrying simulation options within the Airbus family.

Last week, Fenix showcased the differences with the original package and some of the liveries coming with the new airliners, and starting today, you can finally fly them.

Even if you’re not interested in the expansion itself, the Airbus A320 received a massive update, and you can read the full patch notes of version V2.2.0.313 on the official site.

If you’d like to purchase the expansion, it’s available on its own for £39.99 and in bundle with the Airbus A320 in case you don’t already have the main package at £79.99.

It’s worth mentioning that the expansion, like the original package, is only available for PC. Since the aircraft uses an external program to run its systems, it’s not compatible with the Xbox version of Microsoft Flight Simulator.

If you’re not familiar with Fenix Simulations’ Airbus A320, it was released in May 2022 and it’s still widely considered by many the best and most detailed Airbus simulation available for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC and Xbox Series X|S, albeit, once again, this aircraft is only available for PC.

If you’d like to get into flight simulation but you’d like a bit of guidance to get started, you can read our introductory guide, alongside the second episode focusing on installing add-ons, and another showcasing the basic instruments.
